* You DO NOT need your ID to return books or make

Checking out Materials
When checking out a book from the Cano ILC, you agree that you are responsible for the care of your book. You are also responsible for paying for lost and/or dam-aged items. All materials must be returned by the due date and in good condition. You will be charged for damages incurred to your book if you lose control of it by leaving it in a classroom, with a friend, on the bus, or anywhere else.
Follow the suggestions below:
Keep your books in your possession (no sharing or leaving them unattended)
Make sure to keep your book dry and clean.
Use a waterproof backpack, or keep it in a plastic bag inside your backpack.
Keep all water bottles tightly, capped in your backpack.
Fines accrued according to HCISD Policies Check out: Students may check out three books, Only two books by same author or subject to ensure that the collection is available to most students. Technology: When using your device or school computers, please adhere to the BYOD guide-lines or Internet Use Policies. Selection Policy Criteria Materials purchased at Dr. Abraham P. Cano ILC are purchased with the intention to meet the needs of the campus students, staff, and to support the school cur-riculum.
